  • When can I enroll in One Care?

If you’re eligible, you can enroll at any time. To find out if you or a family member qualify, please call MassHealth Customer Service Center at 800-841-2900 (TTY 800-497-4648), Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Ask to be enrolled in the Commonwealth Care Alliance One Care Program.

  • If I enroll, what happens to my MassHealth and Medicare? Will I lose them?

No - you don’t lose them. MassHealth and Medicare are working together with One Care plans to better integrate services they both offer and to offer you more flexible and additional benefits. This means that the services you need will be better coordinated. Besides just having one place to call, you’ll also have one card to carry while you are a One Care member – your CCA One Care card. That is the only card you’ll need to present at all your doctor appointments and at the pharmacy.

And, if you decide that you want to go back to what you have now, you will have the right to do so at any time. So, you can keep your MassHealth and Medicare cards in case you decide to disenroll. If that happens, you will just go back to using your Medicare and MassHealth cards.
