Corey McCarty, Senior Vice President and General Manager of CCA Rhode Island, spoke with Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island for their Together 4 Seniors video series. McCarty, who is a board member of Meals on Wheels RI, spoke about the partnership between CCA and other community organizations to address the social determinants impacting members’ health needs.
“For the people we are trying to serve as effectively as possible, you can’t really start talking about medical care until you’ve addressed unmet needs on the social side,” McCarty said.
