Although Latino and Black adults are at a higher risk of contracting and dying from COVID-19, respectively, vaccination rates in both communities are well below the average for white Americans. Reasons for the disparities include misinformation about the vaccine, as well as concerns about traveling to vaccination sites. To help fight misinformation, as well as reach members where they are, CCA launched an outreach program to find out which members are unvaccinated and help them schedule appointments to get the vaccine.
