“The minute that COVID-19 was identified in the United States back in January, we activated our incident command and business continuity plans. We have always been, to the extent any organization could be, ahead of the progression of this in the United States and now in Massachusetts,” CCA President and CEO Chris Palmieri told Becker’s Healthcare Podcast. Chris discussed how CCA made sure field teams had the necessary PPE to continue to see members in their homes and how the use of telehealth and remote patient monitoring allows members to continue to get the care they need.
