CCA Commits to Being an Ally for Social Justice

Christopher D. Palmieri, CCA’s president and CEO, shares a message of solidarity for those seeking equality.

Racism and inequalities are destructive, divisive, unjust, traumatizing, and clash with the Commonwealth Care Alliance mission, vision and values, and the very heart of our organization.

CCA celebrates and values the harmony of our differences, identities, experiences, cultures, and backgrounds.

• We support the Black Lives Matter movement for freedom, liberation, and justice.
• We support peaceful protest to address racial inequality and social justice.
• We stand in solidarity with our Black and Brown colleagues, members, patients, and community partners.
• We denounce social injustice.
• We support effective training for our dedicated police force.
• We do not support extreme force or abuse of power from anyone.
• We commit to learning and growing to ensure the past is no longer a part of our present.

This is a journey and we are committed to be an ally for as long as it takes.
