Fazle Husain brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare investing as CCA continues national expansion
Commonwealth Care Alliance® (CCA), an integrated care system influencing innovative models of complex care nationwide, today announced the appointment of Fazle Husain to its Board of Directors. Husain’s appointment strengthens the organization’s leadership as it builds on its mission-aligned geographic diversification growth strategy.

Husain currently serves as the Head of U.S. Healthcare at CVC Capital Partners, a global private equity firm that manages more than $130 billion in assets with a network of 25 offices and more than 700 employees throughout Europe, Asia and the United States. Prior to joining CVC Capital, Husain led healthcare efforts as Managing Director at Metalmark Capital. He brings more than 25 years of experience investing in healthcare across numerous sectors, including healthcare services, medical devices, specialty pharmaceuticals, and information technology. In addition to serving on the boards of several private and public companies, Husain has also served as Board Chairman of Healogics and Collagen Matrix.

Husain received his Sc.B. degree in Chemical Engineering from Brown University and his MBA from Harvard Business School. He is on the Board of Advisors for the School of Engineering at Brown University and is on the Board of the Healthcare Private Equity Association (HCPEA).
