Sebastiaan Foppema, CEO and General Manager of instED, joined Bill Bartholomew on the Bartholomewtown podcast to discuss instED’s recent expansion into Rhode Island. The conversation focused on how instED offers a practical alternative to the emergency department for urgent care.
Foppema discussed the benefit to patients, who can access necessary care in their homes, and the healthcare system, which has limited capacity in emergency departments.
“There’s a lot of people who go to emergency departments for things that don’t require them to be in the hospital. We provide a safe and convenient alternative by sending a paramedic to provide the care you need in the comfort of your own residence,” he said.
