CCA President and CEO Chris Palmieri wrote about how the pandemic has put a spotlight on the need to eliminate health disparities while ensuring that all individuals can access quality health services

With the number of COVID-19 cases rising in New England, individuals with significant health needs are at the highest risk for serious complications related to the virus. CCA President and CEO Chris Palmieri wrote in the Providence Journal that the pandemic has highlighted the need for a hands-on approach to member engagement to identify and prioritize those at the greatest risk. Reaching that goal involves a community-based approach that focuses on helping individuals find the access points to care that work for them—and these efforts must continue in a post-COVID world.
