Clinical Guidelines
CCA’s Clinical Guidelines represent the current standard of care for screening and/or management of specific diseases for which there are special considerations that apply to the complex health and social conditions of our members.
CCA strongly supports the use of evidence-based medicine and decision-making. We include the following information to provide quality resources to assist providers in taking care of their patients who have complex care needs. Guidelines can be used as a point of reference when making decisions regarding the care of a patient. We believe shared decision-making between the clinician and patient result in the best outcomes.
We hope that the following guidelines are helpful in decision-making. They have been developed by recognized experts and reviewed by CCA’s Clinical and Practice Guidelines Committee.
