Since March 2020, when the U.S. Federal Government declared the COVID-19 pandemic a national Public Health Emergency (PHE), Medicaid members have been protected from losing their health insurance coverage. However, those coverage protections will end in April 2023, and annual renewal actions that existed prior to the PHE will begin again.
As a result, Medicaid is resuming yearly eligibility reviews for Medicaid coverage. These coverage “redeterminations” will take place over the next 12 months. CCA is committed to ensuring that we assist every member in retaining their eligibility and keeping their Medicaid coverage. We have resources available to help and are committed to partnering with all providers in this effort. Click here to learn more.
