I’d like to update you on Commonwealth Care Alliance’s (CCA) claims transformation initiative that was implemented in April 2023. Last year, we communicated the transition of our claims processing vendors from PCG to Cognizant. Now, with more than twelve months since go-live, all claims will be managed through Cognizant moving forward. We appreciate your partnership during this transition.
Below is important information to help ensure seamless and efficient processing for your claims:
- Claims with Dates of Service BEFORE April 1, 2023: Please submit all outstanding claims, appeals and disputes directly to CCA at the address below:

- Claims with Dates of Service ON OR AFTER April 1, 2023: Please continue to submit claims as you do today, through the Availity portal or your clearinghouse.
- Claims Payment Processing: Payspan will continue to process payments for all dates of service.
- Updated Resources Available: We have updated our Provider Manuals and have also created resources to address common questions and provide clear guidance on processes:
