CCA Contracted Providers who are registered on CCA’s Provider Portal have the option of submitting new service authorization requests directly in the “Authorization Request” section of the portal.

The  Authorization Request section of the portal includes:

To help ensure timely processing, providers are asked to submit each authorization request using only one submission method. For example, please submit a request either through the Provider Portal or by fax—not both for the same member and service. If additional documentation is requested or needs to be added, please FAX those documents to (617) 507-0416.

Please allow 24–48 hours after submitting an authorization for it to appear on the dashboard available on the landing page of the Provider Portal. Determinations and notifications for utilization management requests are provided within seven calendar days of receipt, or sooner if warranted by the member’s health condition and the receipt of all required documentation. If you do not see a previously submitted authorization in the Provider Portal—regardless of whether it was submitted via fax or entered directly into the Portal—please contact Provider Services for assistance at 1-866-420-9332.
