Exciting news! During the month of August, CCA will be hosting a weekly workshop and peer group focused how to age well in your own home. The program will cover a variety of topics, including:
- What you need to age well at home
- What is normal aging and what is not
- Types of care provided in the home
- Meeting medical and social needs at home
- Challenges of caregiving
- How to find aging support and resources
- And more!
PLUS, you’ll have the opportunity to meet new people and share your own best practices!
Workshop details
Debbie Sylvester, Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and Director of Geriatrics at CCA will lead the workshop.
- When: Every Wednesday in August
- Time: 11am – 1pm
- Where: In-person at 30 Northampton Street in Boston OR virtually (digital link will be provided when you sign-up)
Other information: Light refreshments and snacks (coffee, individually packed items) will be offered. CCA Transportation will cover rides to and from these sessions. Members AND care team staff can sign members up using the link below
