An update from CCA’s SVP of Provider Contracting and Performance
Hello, CCA providers and practices,
Happy New Year! I hope you had an enjoyable holiday season with family and friends. We’ve hit the ground running at CCA in 2025. I hope you will take a few moments to read more about our newly launched pharmacy benefit manager and 2025 resources to help you as you care for our members.
Significant effort by the CCA team in 2024 went into improving key areas such as streamlining and improving our claims and prior authorization processes, contracting with additional providers to help ensure our members have access to the care they need, and launching our new Tomorrow Health DME platform which will help ensure that CCA members receive their DME supplies on a timely basis. In addition, we are working very closely with our provider network partners to continue to expand programs that support our population health, health equity and social determinants of health strategies and the needs of our members. We hope you’ll continue to see the benefits of this work in 2025 and as we transition into 2026.
We have heard from some of our providers that—due to CCA’s discontinuation of our MAPD PPO plans for 2025—there may be some confusion regarding CCA’s flagship Senior Care Options (SCO) and One Care products. I want to assure you that CCA continues to offer both our SCO and One Care plans and we are proud to be the Commonwealth’s largest provider of plans for individuals dually eligible for Medicaid and Medicare. As always, I invite you to reach out to me or my team directly with any questions you may have.
Thank you, as always, for your partnership. I look forward to our continued work together this year.
Sincerely,
Erik Helms
