It’s been nearly two months since CCA joined the CareSource family of companies and on behalf of all of us on the Provider Contracting and Performance team, I want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your support and engagement during these first weeks.
As you heard directly from CareSource’s President & CEO, Erhardt Preitauer and CCA’s Interim President & CEO, Sanjoy Musunuri earlier this month in their first stakeholder update, both CareSource and CCA are committed to enhanced transparency and keeping you informed. Going forward, for the balance of 2025, you can expect to hear directly from Erhardt and Sanjoy each month and you will also receive this newsletter.
Together with our partners at CareSource, our clear and immediate focus is on ensuring CCA’s sustainability for the long term. We are unpacking CCA’s administrative processes end to end and, while we still have a lot of work ahead of us, it’s clear that CCA has a meaningful opportunity to improve our payment integrity. This means paying every claim in a manner consistent with state and federal laws and our contracts with our providers. We are committed to solving past challenges with CCA’s claims system rollout and working to ensure the system is set up correctly for claims payment.
Over the course of the next month or so I’m excited to get back out on the road meeting with our provider partners. In the coming months, I look forward to visiting with as many of you as possible so I can thank you personally for your partnership and all you do on behalf of those we are privileged to serve. And I will keep sharing more about our continual pursuit of improvements in the experience of our provider partners. In the meantime, my door is always open; and my team members, who many of you connect with regularly, are also available to support you. Don’t hesitate to reach out if we can be of help.
