Renew your MassHealth coverage to keep
your health plan
MassHealth members must renew their coverage each year to keep their CCA One Care (Medicare-Medicaid Plan) benefits. Review our tips to help you get ready.
Make sure that your address, phone number, and other contact information are up to date with MassHealth so you don’t miss important renewal mailings.
If you’ve moved recently, it’s a good idea to confirm MassHealth has your current address on file.

MassHealth will send a blue envelope to let you know it’s time to renew. You must respond by the due date in this notice to keep your coverage.
- —If MassHealth has enough information, they may renew your coverage automatically. You’ll get a letter confirming your renewal, and you won’t need to do anything.
- —If MassHealth needs more information to verify your eligibility, they’ll contact you. You’ll get a letter telling you what you need to submit and when it’s due.

Your renewal packet will explain what to include. You may need documents like a paystub, insurance card, or ID to help complete your form or to send as proof of income, insurance, or identity.

This is the fastest and easiest way to renew. Sign in to your MA Login Account. You can create an account if you don’t already have one.
Call MassHealth at 800-841-2900 (TTY 711) Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
Fill out the form that was sent with your renewal notice and sign and mail all pages to:

Frequently asked questions
You could lose your benefits if you don’t respond by the renewal due date listed in your notice.
Your due date will be listed in the blue renewal packet from MassHealth and in communications you get from us. You can also call 800-841-2900 (TTY 711) 24/7 to check when your renewal is due. At the prompt, enter your MassHealth Member Identification number located on your MassHealth ID card and date of birth.
You should still fill out all forms and respond to MassHealth, even if you think you aren’t eligible.
If after reviewing your application, they tell you that you no longer qualify for MassHealth, there are other coverage options available on Massachusetts Health Connector.
This means MassHealth was able to verify your eligibility with information they have on file. You don’t need to do anything to keep your benefits.
Once you submit your renewal to MassHealth, they will review it. If they need more information from you to confirm your eligibility, they will send you a letter explaining what they need and the date it’s due.
