Renew Your MassHealth (Medicaid) Coverage to Keep
Your CCA Benefits
MassHealth (Medicaid) members must renew their coverage each year to keep their CCA Senior Care Options benefits. Follow these steps to get ready.

Make sure that your address, phone number, and other contact information are up to date with MassHealth (Medicaid). This way you don’t miss important renewal mailings.
If you’ve moved recently, it’s a good idea to make sure MassHealth (Medicaid) has your new address.
MassHealth (Medicaid) will send a blue envelope when it’s time to renew. You must respond by the due date to keep your coverage.
– If MassHealth (Medicaid) has enough information, they may renew your coverage automatically. You’ll get a letter confirming your renewal. You won’t need to do anything.
– If MassHealth (Medicaid) needs more information, they’ll contact you. You’ll get a letter telling you what you need to submit and when it’s due.
Your renewal packet will explain what to include. Examples include pay stubs, insurance cards, or an ID card.
Complete and return your renewal before the due date. Here’s how:
If your packet includes an e-Submission number, you can renew online through the MassHealth (Medicaid) eSubmission website. If you don’t have an e-Submission number, you can renew by mail, fax, or in person.

Your due date is listed in your blue renewal packet and other notices you get from us. You can also call 1-800-841-2900 (TTY: 711) at any time to check your due date. You will need your MassHealth (Medicaid) Member ID number and date of birth.
You should still complete and return all forms.
If MassHealth (Medicaid) determines that you are no longer eligible, there are other coverage options available on Massachusetts Health Connector.
This means MassHealth (Medicaid) confirmed your eligibility using information on file. You don’t need to do anything to keep your benefits.
After you submit your renewal, MassHealth (Medicaid) will review it. If more information is needed, MassHealth (Medicaid) will send you a letter explaining what is required and when it is due.

If you lose MassHealth (Medicaid) coverage, we will contact you. In most cases, you have 30 days to restore your coverage if you believe it ended by mistake. During that time, you will need to pay for services that Medicare does not cover.
