Clinical Practice Guidelines
Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA) strongly supports the use of evidence-based medicine and informed decision-making. We include the following information to provide quality resources to assist providers in taking care of their patients who have complex care needs. Guidelines can be used as a point of reference when making decisions regarding the care of a patient. We believe shared decision-making between the clinician and patient results in the best outcomes.
The Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) selected are relevant to the CCA Senior Care Options (SCO) and/or CCA One Care population. These guidelines are developed by recognized experts, reviewed by community physicians and practitioners, and approved by the CCA Medical Leadership.
