Clinical Guidelines
The CCA Clinical Guidelines represent the current standard of care for screening and/or management of specific diseases for which there are special considerations that apply to the complex health and social conditions of our members.
Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA) strongly supports the use of evidence-based medicine and decision-making. We include the following information to provide quality resources to assist providers in taking care of their patients who have complex care needs. Guidelines can be used as a point of reference when making decisions regarding the care of a patient. We believe shared decision-making between the clinician and patient results in the best outcomes.
We hope that the following guidelines are helpful in decision-making. They have been developed by recognized experts and reviewed by the CCA Clinical and Practice Guidelines Committee.
