The Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA) Clinical Guidelines adhere to recommendations upheld by nationally recognized primary and specialty care health societies and advocacy groups, including:

National Specialty Societies

Disease Advocacy Groups

CCA strongly supports the use of evidence-based medicine and decision-making. We include the following information to provide quality resources to assist providers in taking care of their patients who have significant medical and/or behavioral health needs.

The CCA guidelines can be used as a point of reference when making decisions regarding the care of a patient, but we understand that the ultimate decisions must be made by the clinician and the patient. We hope that the following guidelines are helpful in decision-making.
