Quality Improvement Program goal and strategy

CCA is committed to providing the highest-quality, individualized care to our members. To deliver on this mission, our Quality Improvement Program integrates quality assessment and performance improvement activities throughout all levels of our care delivery system.

The goal of the CCA Quality Improvement Program is to improve performance in the three components of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s Triple Aim:1

  1. Health of a population
  2. Patient experience of care
  3. Cost of care

CCA achieves this goal by focusing on the Institute of Medicine’s1 six measures of quality:

  1. Safety
  2. Effectiveness
  3. Timeliness
  4. Patient-Centeredness
  5. Efficiency
  6. Equity

Quality Improvement Program design

We have designed our Quality Improvement Program to ensure that the member perspective is built into all quality assurance activities. We believe that true partnerships between those receiving care and those providing and managing care can promote autonomy, independence, and better health outcomes.
