CCA’s SVP of Medical Affairs Lori Tishler stressed the importance of preventive care until a COVID-19 vaccine is developed

As companies race to develop a COVID-19 vaccine, patients are turning to hospitals and health systems for reliable information. Lori Tishler, CCA’s SVP of Medical Affairs, told Becker’s Health IT that, in addition to educating members about the process of vaccine production, it is also critical to emphasize proper hygiene and other preventive measures. “We want to ensure that all of our members continue to get their flu shots, wash their hands and take other steps to stay healthy,” Tishler said.
