As a mission-driven healthcare organization, each year CCA holds an annual Day of Service, with events across Massachusetts to support the communities we serve.
Volunteers from across CCA came together to support a variety of causes. Some built beds for children as part of the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless’ A Bed for Every Child program. Others worked with Food Link in Arlington to help sort and pack food. Others assembled home cleaning kits for Heading Home, a program that supports families in transitional housing. Through Habitat for Humanity, CCA staff helped to build a home for a family in need living in Malden. The day of service also included events to support food banks in the region.
In addition to the annual Day of Service, CCA employees are encouraged to volunteer in their communities, and receive two days each year to volunteer on work time.
