With millions of older adults remaining inside for a year due to the pandemic, many have suffered issues such as poor nutrition, muscle weakness, and social isolation that can lead to poor health later on. Although many older adults initially delayed medical care out of fear of the coronavirus, now that the majority have been vaccinated, it is important to schedule primary care and preventive care visits, says Dr. Rob MacArthur, CCA’s Chief Medical Officer.
