Organization welcomes new Chief Information Officer; appoints SVP of Strategic Initiatives to advance CCA’s mission

BOSTON, MA – November 1, 2022Commonwealth Care Alliance® (CCA), an integrated care system influencing innovative models of complex care nationwide, has named Beth O’Rorke as Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer (CIO) and announced the promotion of Meredith Glennon to Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. Together, the two will leverage their more than 40 years of combined experience to deliver on CCA’s mission of providing and coordinating care for individuals with significant needs.

I am excited to work alongside her as we deliver and support IT policy development and enhance technical solutions throughout the organization.”

Mudunuri added, “I have also had the privilege of watching Meredith excel during her tenure at CCA and I look forward to the expertise and fresh perspective she brings to her new position. She continues to play an integral role in transforming CCA’s Strategic Initiatives portfolio.”

As CIO, O’Rorke oversees CCA’s technical solutions and IT policy development and compliance. She is also responsible for building analytic capacity to inform organizational performance measurement capabilities. O’Rorke closely manages the prioritization of CCA’s technology initiatives, implementation of industry best practices, and facilitation of technology acquisition, deployment, and customization to enhance operations throughout the organization.

O’Rorke brings over 20 years of business and technology expertise to CCA, after most recently consulting for Amazon Web Services, where she advised customers in the healthcare and life sciences sectors on cloud adoption, strategy development, digital transformation implementation, and technology initiative execution. O’Rorke also held positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts as SVP, Operations and SVP, Chief Information Officer, where she focused on developing a competitive edge through digital engagement, enterprise analytics, competitive cost structure initiatives, innovation, and market responsiveness. O’Rorke received a Bachelor of Science from Providence College and an MBA from Bentley University. She has been recognized as a 2018 finalist in the Boston CIO ORBIE Awards and as one of the Top 20 CIOs Shaping the Future of Technologies by Warner Communications in 2020.

As SVP of Strategic Initiatives, Glennon is building on her work to improve organizational analysis and decision making, to provide transparency into CCA’s priorities, and to improve demand management across the organization. With 20 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industries, Glennon has developed expertise in program management, mergers and acquisitions, and business process management.

In Glennon’s previous position as VP of Enterprise Delivery, she fostered success in CCA’s Enterprise Project Management Office, delivering on project portfolios that advanced CCA’s mission. Glennon also serves as the Executive Sponsor for the organization’s CRM and Claims Transformation projects. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and recently earned her Certified Health Insurance Executive certification from AHIP’s Executive Leadership Program.
