CCA is helping to expand COVID-19 vaccine access for residents who cannot get to a vaccine site

After vaccinating 500 homebound members in February, CCA is now leading the Commonwealth’s homebound COVID-19 vaccination efforts. CCA was enlisted by the Massachusetts COVID Command Center to handle operations for the homebound vaccination program, including patient outreach and appointment scheduling.

CCA was one of the first healthcare organizations in the country to vaccinate homebound individuals and has been involved in the national discussion around strategies to ensure COVID-19 vaccine access for this population. Last month, CCA joined America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) in briefing the White House, promoting the prioritization of homebound individuals in COVID-19 vaccine delivery efforts and sharing best practices for in-home vaccinations.
